I'll begin by telling you how I decided to crete this site.

While learning to code, I was looking for part-time opportunities to practice my skills and why not, earn some extra money. I thought “Hey! it would be great to get a second job on weekends or part-time (I know, some might think is not that great haha).

After some time searching on some job boards I couldn't find many opportunities. So I thought again “Hey! let's create a job board focused on weekend, part-time or temporary jobs. Perhaps more people want to do an extra job like me and don't know where to start”.

Also, I thought about all the good things part-time or weekend jobs offer for both, Employers and Employees.

🎅 For Employers:

• ☑️ You can hire people only for the time you need them to work.
• ☑️ If your company work on weekends or late during weekdays, you can cover those spots.
• ☑️ You attrack skilled professionals that aren't able to work full time but are good elments for part-time (i.e. moms and dads).
• ☑️ You discover potential full-time employees.
• ☑️ You might be able to offer 24/7 support to your clients.

• ✅ More free time for your family, side hustles or hobbies.
• ✅ Practice your skills before applying to a full-time job.
• ✅ Extra income.
• ✅ More flexibility, less stress.
• ✅ Save money on transportation and food.

Motivated by the history and facts above I created Weekend Jobs (WJ). A job listings site to help people announce or find a flexible job.

For the name, I just liked the way WJ sounded, but I also intend the site to serve those looking to offer or look for part-time or temporary jobs.
